#973 for broadcast on 2CH Sydney, 5 Oct 2014.
According to Family Voice Australia, a program launched in Sydney on July 31 by Family Planning NSW could mislead teens into adopting the homosexual lifestyle.
The program, known as the “Safe Schools Coalition,” is intended to end bullying by blurring the distinctions between girls and boys. Schools wishing to participate will be discouraged from separating students into gender-based groups for sport and in toilets, and will display posters promoting homosexuality and transgenderism as normal healthy lifestyles.
Family Voice policy officer Nathan Keen said there was widespread concern about the political ideology behind the program. He said schools already used effective anti-bullying resources, such as the “Safe Schools Hub,” which seeks to foster respect for all students who may appear different.
It appears that our state and private schools may be the next battleground in the push for gender-blurring sexuality confusion, with boys wearing dresses to school and girls playing boys’ sports.
